Luxurious fashion, beautiful people, stunning cities and gorgeous landscapes, right?
But wait, there is something very important missing…
“La cucina italiana”!
When I came to Sardinia, it was very important for me to not just enjoy the wonderful beaches and pretty landscapes the island has to offer, but also to taste original Sardinian food.
So one afternoon, we took our car and drove all the way down along the coast.
Starting from beautiful Alghero to Bosa to explore the “Ristorante Pedramare”.
(Side note: although the coast way sometimes feels like a rollercoaster drive, you should not hesitate to go further and take a stop to enjoy the amazing view over the breathtaking coast)
Welcomed by an avenue of oleander bushes you reach la Ristorante Pedramare.
It is a beautiful location surrounded by the typical Sardinian west coast landscape that is dominated by rocky hills and reefs.
The restaurant itself is characterized through spacious rooms and amazing terraces, which invite you to enjoy your food while watching the open sea.
The menu varies from fresh fish to pasta and pizza a lá mama.
I can highly recommend the grilled squid with grilled potatoes and the typical Sardinian pasta „Malloreddus“ with fresh tomato sauce!
It is without any doubt one of the most amazing places I have ever been.
Tip: If you want to enjoy one of the most amazing sunsets you will ever get to see,
you should definitely go there!

Was kommt Euch in den Sinn, wenn Ihr von Italien träumt?
Luxuriöse Kleidung, wunderschöne Menschen, atemberaubende Städte und wunderschöne Landschaften, richtig?
Aber wartet, hier fehlt eine der wichtigsten Sachen…
„La cucina italiana“!
Als Ich nach Sardinien kam war es sehr wichtig für mich nicht nur die wunderbaren Sträne und Landschaften zu genießen, die diese Insel zu bieten hat, sondern typisch sardisches Essen zu testen.
Wir fuhren eines Nachmittags die Küste entlang nach unten, vom wunderschönen Alghero aus richtung Bosa, um das Restaurant „Pedramare“ zu testen.
(Auch wenn die Fahrt einer Achterbahnfahrt ähnelt, durch die kurvigen und steilen Berge – zögert nicht und fahrt weiter! Haltet auch kurz in einer Fahrbahnbucht um die wunderschnöne Aussicht zu genießen!)
Begrüßt von einer Allee aus Oleanderbüschen, wartet oben auf dem Berg das Restaurant, welches von Bergen und exotischen Pflanzen umringt ist, in voller Pracht.
Das Restaurant selbst, bietet weiträumigen Platz und eine wunderschöne Terasse, die definitiv zum verweilen einladen um den Blick aufs Meer zu genießen.
Das Menü varriert typisch italienisch, von frischem Fisch zu hausgemachter Pasta und Pizza.
Ich kann Euch nur den gegrillten Sepia Tintenfisch ans Herz legen und die typisch sardischen „Malloredus“ mit Tomatensauce!
Es ist ohne jeden Zweifel einer der schönsten Orte an denen ich jemals war!
Tipp: Wenn ihr einen der schönsten Sonnenuntergänge erleben möchtet, die diese Welt zu bieten hat, kommt nach Sardinien und genießt diese Aussicht!
